Breeding Bulls

SWR Moonshine is one of the cornerstone sires of our boutique program at Singing Waters Ranch.

Moonshine is a chondro-positive, high percentage highland/ highpark bull known for his compact build, width, depth, heavy hair, and strong highland character. He combines a short, proportional frame with the substance and presence we look for in a breeding bull.

His Sire is BCC The Famous Silver Splendor, a well-known influence in the mini cattle industry. HIs dam is a deep bodied, thick, stocky chocolate dun highland with exceptional hair coverage, traits that Moonshine carries forward beautifully.

Moonshine has proven himself as an exceptionally reliable breeding bull and has produced some of the most sought-after calves in our program. Moonshine's calves have become favorites in the industry and people are waiting in line for the limited number of bulls we have from him.  Moonshine calves are sought after for their size, phenotype, hair, and overall appeal.

We selected Moonshine not simply for small stature, but for his ability to combine compact genetics in the highland type, structure, hair, and consistency. He continues to play an important role in the direction of our program and in the genetics we are building for future generations.
